Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC has become the title sponsor of National Cricket League (NCL) T20 Tournament – the first ever T20 tournament organized by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for local cricketers.

The logo of the tournament was unveiled on 23 November, Saturday, according to a media release.

BCB President Faruk Ahmed was present as Chief Guest at the event, while Managing Director and CEO of the bank Farman R. Chowdhury was present as Special Guest.

Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, Kazi Mahmood Karim, Senior Executive Vice President Engr. Habib Ullah, Executive Vice President Jalal Ahmed and senior Executives  were also present on the occasion.

From now on, NCL T20 will be played every year before BPL T20 tournament. 7 Divisional (Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barishal, Rangpur, Sylhet) and Dhaka Metro team of National Cricket League will play in this tournament.

All matches will be live telecasted on T-Sports and T-Sports App. The tournament will be held from 11 to 24 December this year, the release adds.
